White resigned.  White was down so much material and after playing Bf4 White lost more material and also lost the game.  Instead of Bf4 White should have played something like Nc3 preparing for Bg5 or Bc4. Another move White could have played is Bg2.

By the way Alex is my younger brother.

Carlson vs Kramnik is one of my favorite Chess games.  In most chess games you spend the game fighting for control of the center.  But in this game they also take control of the flanks. ( the flanks are the sides of the chess board)  I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do!
